Behind the Wheel Lottery

SCPS provides free, no-cost vouchers to a specific number of students each school year, based on the tax revenue provided by the county. A Lottery System was created as a fair and anonymous way to select current active SCPS students who have completed the Driver’s Education course with Seminole County Virtual School to be entered into a drawing to win these vouchers for no-cost behind the wheel training provided by the Florida Highway Safety Council.  

Students who have completed the course will be provided with this information on how to enter the Lottery, which will run 4 times per year.  

If a student wins the Lottery, they will be notified via email and be able to schedule their lessons at no cost with the Florida Safety Council. Visit the Florida Safety Council for more information.  

Lottery Dates for the 2025-2026 School Year

Students completing the course from June 2025 to November 3, 2025 ------ November 4, 2025  

Students completing the course from November 4, 2025 to February 8, 2026------ February 9, 2026 

Students completing the course from February 9, 2026 to May 31, 2026------ June 1, 2026

Students completing the course from June 1, 2026 to August 3, 2026------ August 4, 2026
