SCVS Relocation Plan

We are excited to share that SCVS is growing—and we have a new home on the way! 

With the continued growth of our students, staff, and programs, Seminole County Virtual School has outgrown our current space at Technology Park. During the 2026–2027 school year, SCVS will expand to a new location on the Winter Springs High School campus. 

This move gives SCVS the opportunity to create an innovative “school within a school” model—combining the flexibility of virtual learning with a dedicated physical space where our students can connect, receive support, participate in hybrid learning opportunities, complete testing, and engage with their SCVS community. 

While we will be located on the Winter Springs High School campus, SCVS will remain its own school.

  

What should families know for 2026–2027? 

We will begin the 2026–2027 school year at our current Technology Park location in Lake Mary and transition to our new Winter Springs location.  

 

The current targeted date for SCVS relocation is the spring semester of 2026-2027 school year.   

Until an official relocation date is announced, SCVS testing, weekly in-person courses, and other on-campus services will continue at Technology Park. We will communicate the transition date and additional details well in advance, so families know exactly when and where to report.
